Multiple booster shots studies have been completed or near completed. Mixing vaccines studies are still on going. Sinopharm and Sinovac second generation vaccines against Delta are in preclinical trials. There are other second generation vaccines against variants but not sure if they take Delta into consideration.

We have quadrivalent (4 mutant strains) in a single influenza vaccine, and over the course of a regular flu season, there is four (4) quadrivalent vaccines that's constantly updated (up to 16 different mutants/strains) depending which one is most prevalent in circulation, which varies by region, country, and continent.
So yes, you can pack ALL the SAR-CoV-2 variants into a single vaccine and adminster it as a booster.

You want China to open up, which means importing many variants of SARS-CoV-2 from the rest of the world. As of February 2021, , according to Sujeet Kumar Singh, who is Director of NCDC, which I assume is India's equivalent of the US CDC. That was several months ago. Who knows how many variants are spreading in India now -- and in the rest of the world. Multivalent vaccines will protect against how many thousands of variants, according to you?

I want China to keep fighting the coronavirus, and not give up as you recommend. For some things there are no quick and easy answers. China must continue to fight. Who knows, perhaps a strong vaccine will emerge that proves effective against all variants.
I can argue very stubbornly against BS artists who offer little evidence to support their hype. How much evidence have you that your opening-up plan will even work? None as far as I can see. You want China to dump a program that is working well in favor of your plan, which has very little evidence for it?

A very nice news. I'll take "Zero Covid" strategy over "Covid Blind " strategy any day. Having the virus eventually affecting all of China is not a good strategy at all.
What I fear is new variants of the Virus affecting children. I can tolerate old people getting the ticket but not young ones. If China were to adopt a strategy of "living with the virus" then it'd find combating a new Babadook strain difficult.
The virus can mutate into millions even billions of combinations. Enough for humanity to deal it for the rest of Earth's history. Math is pretty cool.
