They made mistakes in some areas, did excellent jobs in others, but honestly can you expect any country in China' income bracket to do an overall better job? Can you even expect any developed country to do much better?

The problem with your timeline is you didn't include things that the Wuhan/Hubei governments did do. For example, you took issues with Wuhan health authority's Dec 31 statement that there were no clear cases of human to human transmission and no infection among healthcare workers (there is no evidence that they knew more at the time), but you didn't mention that in the same announcement the health authority advised the public to wear face mask and avoid large gathering in enclosed spaces:

You also didn't include in your timeline other measures took by the Wuhan health authorities after Dec 31:
Between Dec 31 and Jan 3: closed and disinfected the seafood market. Began contact tracing. Actively search for new and back cases

It's called selective bias!

It's amazing, when China makes mistakes, it is hold up as a shining becaon of the big bad CCP system of things. But when mistakes occurred in the west, it is the individuals that made the mistake.

Look at this recent case of the coach drivers. They are now trying to pass the buck to the coach firm. The coach firm said they acted on advise received! But at no time was ever blame on the authorities!




What must be going on in the drivers' head. One could only wonder! Poor drivers, the psychological damage alone is enough, let alone anything else!

The pics are of the much publicized of the returning British subjects (sorry, citizens) from China, and they are so contagious that they must be quarantined for 14 days. The UK government hired the coach company to ferry these people from the airport to their "quarantine camp".

So the plane had to land on military airfield away from all the regular airports for extra safety. All personnel accompanying them have all the full protective gear on. BUT!

The coach company obviously never got the memo! So the only protection the drivers had was their ties! Lol. You can't make it up!

With all the negative focus from the MSM on everything frim China knows, or should have known to if not why not!

And It must be the states fault, blah blah blah. Etc.

We forget the heros of all the medics and other people are still there fighting the virus!

Another gut wrenching video of our heroine hearing bad news from home. My heart goes out to them. Again, I don't mind telling you, that this grown man was crying like a baby.

Show of support from my favourite sport, football. (soccer over the pond). Real Madrid, one of the best team in Europe. I've the privilege to watch them play at Serville against real Betis a few years back. (sadly I'm a supporter of a lowly team in the UK).

Anyway, they came out last night to play their game, and they all worn their shirts showing support for China!

I'm not sure. I don't think they did. Because they said the passengers were all negatives when they checked them just before they all got off the plane, and apparantly they have been checked 8 times from when they left China and landing in the UK.

But this begs the question, why all the gear for the escorts and medics. It look as though they are putting on a show for the populace's consumption! To show that British government is serious, and is on top of things. But it back-fired when someone forgot to let the coach company on it! Lol like I said, you just can't make it up!

The more I watch this, and the more I read over at airlift and air transport threads. Thanks @by78 The more I'm convince how much of a god-send this Y20 is to China! How much hardwork China had put into this endeavor, to be able to make full use of the Y20 on the relief effort at this, her darkest hour possible!

At the same time, it had made me realised even more, how far and how much other nations have sought to impeade China's efforts in aquiring this capabilities! It just saddens me that even now, 1/5 of the way into the 21st century, there are still nations in the world see China as the 19th century yellow peril!
