Bangladesh, and other India's neighbours should had known by now that India is unreliable but alas they wanted to play politics.
It doesn't make any practical sense to rely solely upon India in the first place. Bangladesh government failed its people for not placing national interest before political interference. Same thing with the Sri Lankan healthcare professionals that held up the Sinopharm for months for no reason.

The solution to this is so simple and staring at everyone in the fact that I don't understand why they don't see it:
Kiss up to the CPC and you immediately get the VIP treatment and jump to the front of the queue
Duterte does this every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, he trash talk China the other days of the week and he still get vaccine special delivery from PLAAF.

You are right though, the CPC would absolutely love it if a foreign leader came out and said that he loves China, Xi is his friend, praise China etc. And I am sure after the CPC has been given "face", it would in turn give "face" to the country by giving it priority access to vaccine
The problem in Bangladesh and other countries in that region, is that they dont dare to openly praise China, friendship etc, because India is like a paranoid boyfriend looking over his shoulder.

I'm not sure what is the Patriots involvement except the vaccines were being delivered on their plane. I didn't catch anything that said the Patriots bought the vaccine for PR/humanitarian purposes so they flew their own jet to China to pick up the vaccines to then fly them to El Salvador...? I saw an article from Quartz to how China has fallen short in helping Africa. Yes again the Western tactic of point the finger at someone else to cover up your own failures. Yes a lot of lying coming out of the US and Great Britain how each individually claim how wonderful they are for saving the world from COVID.
