I feel that it would be a mess if this IP is waived. A lot of fake and substandard products will emerge and nobody will be responsible for it.
That's a given.
But China's game plan here would be to disincentive nations from trying to bother China with IP waivers by supplying them with vaccines at lower price ( and they aren't sure price can't be lowered further). In a way, IP waivers are going to affect Pfizer/Moderna of US (as Pfizer specifically has overtly expressed interest in hiking prices).
@Xsizor bro excellent insight, knowing the Chinese why bother when I can offer you a better deal...LOL and since they supplied the basic materials there is nothing to lose.
I remember a lot of Westerners saying Vietnam can singlehandedly replace China as factory of the world.
Bro Vietnam isn't even the size of Guangdong province
They are smaller in population and area than some province in China yet they have more provinces than China.
The same in the case of Korea, as they also have many provinces.
