Below is the list of vaccination achievement in Cambodia.

Cambodia has a total population of 16.5 million; however, government's plan is to vaccinate 10 million people only, so we have achieved 20% of our goal. I trace daily infection in Cambodia and found that the peak is at May 3rd. After daily new cases have drop gradually.

May 01: 730
May 02: 841
May 03: 938 (peak)
May 04: 672
May 05: 650
May 06: 558
May 07: 538
May 08: 520
May 09: 506
May 10: 480
May 11: 472
May 12: 446
May 13: 358
May 14 has not been announced yet but some unofficial news said that only 100+ new cases were found.
@SteelBird bro I just had my shot (Sinovac 10:15am) , so far a stingy pain from the injection and all is well. My second shot is schedule on June 12 , Sinovac is gaining popularity among the masses and after leaving the medical center a long queue had form. Early on last month I was offered to inoculate using Astrazeneca, I refused and so are a lot of my friends, there is a problem that the unused Astrazeneca vaccine will expired and the gov't is urging the populace to used it.

How come the gap between two shots are so long (nearly one month)? I took Sinvac too and my doctor told me that the gap should be between 14 to 21 days. I had my first shot on Apr 4 and the second shot on Apr 23. This schedule was arrange by the Ministry of Health. I just did it accordingly.

I have heard some people taking Sinovac saying that they feel sleepy after the shots. For me, I don't feel anything at all except an ant-bite pain the injection point. It disappears very soon.

Because the viral particles are injected into the muscles where they stay for considerable time and gradually introduce itself to the immune system (courtesy of lymphatic network). So that means it can stay there for weeks and give the body time to adjust and learn.

This is a technical question; it can stay for weeks but how many weeks? my doctor's advise is between 2 to 3 weeks while ansy1968's advise is 4 weeks. Can we conclude that it is OK between 2 to 4 weeks?

@SteelBird bro waiting for the arrival of the next batch (scarcity of supply), I was told by the medical workers that they're prioritizing to administered as many people as possible (at least one shot). Especially here in the metropolis, so that people can go back to normal since Metro Manila contribute nearly 40% of our economy.

A little bit dangerous brother. Since Duterte's relationship with China has been worsen recently. Can you be sure that there will be next batch? Further, my doctor advised me that I should take the second shot before the first shot expires inside me.

@SteelBird I know bro but it was debated countless time by our local medical experts, their conclusion with the shortage at least the first shot can give a certain guarantee of protection. And don't give such credence to Duterte rhetoric its for domestic consumption with Beijing tacit understanding.
