Lost all my respect for CDC last year on March (or Feb?) when Dr.Fauci (lol for Dr. title) said that masks didn't work. IMO he should have been thrown straight at jail when he made that statement

But Vietnam didn't request assistance. I agree however that China shouldnt help it. Vietnam is a snake

It was a Morton’s Fork situation for Fauci. The US didn’t have enough masks back then to cover the medical professionals, let alone the whole population. If he urged people to wear masks then you’d seen a toilet paper panic situation x10.

The responsible thing to do would’ve been urging people to avoid public gatherings but since Trump puts the economy before the people, it isn’t Fauci’a call to make.

Didn’t some people here tried to shame Chinese into donating money to help Indians buying oxygen generators from China?
Hahaha yep there was even one poster who managed to convince the mods to sticky a thread for this. Poor mods thought they were dealing with a caring human looking for the best of Indians (everyone agrees on that).

But as time passed it became clear he was baiting poeple and making jokes.

I said it before and I will say it again, until I hear from the Indian officials, media, and people a heartful apology for ambushing these 4 poor souls on the border and killing them in cold blood, then I dont care.

You people can call me heartless all you want, but attacking me when on *thinking* I am at the weakest (covid) and killing my soldiers, then I dont care. I might even raise the prices x10 for getting some interest paid back

Make no mistake, India has proven multiple times that it is an enemy of China

I can never understand that country, Vietnam for seemingly siding with the U.S. and it's population being more susceptible and having a more positive attitude towards the U.S. a country that they fought tooth and nail to gain independence first from France and then from the neo-colonialist America. Vietnam was the most bombed country in the 20th century having bombed by the American military exceeded what was dropped in all of WWII; killed more than a million civilians and the hundreds and thousands more becoming refugee and yet the country and it's people seems to hold more grudges against China because of their border war in 1979?

The P.R.C. should have just annexed more lands and Vietnamese territories if it had known that Vietnam with an almost identical political system is going to be this pathetic, hostile towards China and servile towards America and it's regional interest.

When the Americans left South Vietnam at the end of the war, the entirety of the population in the South stayed behind other than the few that managed to scramble themselves aboard the helicopters. Most of the support in the population today probably has originated from that time and place.

Blame it to Vietnam's history, particularly north Vietnam. Vietnam, from the beginning of their historical records is a product of Chinese (Han) influence. When Qin Shi Huang united China, 2200 years ago, he had the concept to unify the whole world under heaven. So military expeditions were sent to southern China (Guangdong, Guangxi regions today) and they were annexed. But After Qin dynasty collapsed, these military leaders who conquered South China, established their

as the first king, adopted the southern China culture (short hair, rice based food etc). So inevitably, these military conquests and consolidations were further extended to what is northern Vietnam today. So is the Chinese culture and influence extended to these lands. Zhao Tuo is still even remembered today as a folk hero in Vietnam.

Succeeding Han dynasty reminded the ruling class that they are still Han Chinese and secured a vassal status to the Han court. It was even recorded that Zhao Tuo was reprimanded by

After Lu threatened a Han military attack on Nanyue, Zhao Tuo stood up and apologized.

However, after Zhao Tuo died and suceeding Nanyue kings, peace cannot last, they executed that last Han Queen dowager and declared war to Han China. And this is when the Vietnam hatred to China started. Han was no choice but to destroy Nanyue, and subsequently the last Nanyue king was executed and their beloved
