Anyone on Twitter here because I just saw or noticed on my Twitter feed that Wuhan is trending and once again not for the objective reasons. It's alleged pretty much from both political side of the spectrum that the lab-leak theory out of the Wuhan lab is being heavily pushed again for the umpteenth time.

I know firmly we'll that the paper of the article it's written on is considered a right wing rag in the U.S. but I just want to contextualize what's being pushed hard by the vocal elements in the U.S. full of excuses media apparatus right now.

Again, the problem with the lab leak theory (at least if we're talking about WIV) is that if it leaked there, then all the initial superspreader events would have been linked to WIV, and not at some wetmarket.

@KYli Vietnam is at the verge of an outbreak as cases soar and infection sources not found. Using the term of Vietnamese authority: F0 has not been found. Vietnamese authority also said that this outbreak is the fourth wave and is more complicated than previous ones because the variant was originated in India -- fast spreading and more deadly. Vietnam reported 47 new case today.

Further, this is another bad news for AstraZeneca vaccine.
