Being the first global customer of C919, China Eastern celebrated the successful handling of 500,000 passenger trips on September 1 during its flight from Chengdu, Sichuan province to Shanghai.
Since the maiden commercial flight on May 28, 2023, China Eastern's C919 fleet has conducted 6,240 commercial flights and completed more than 850,000 passenger trips as of December 19.
