so we have roughly speaking

C909 over 400 units ordered and 120 delivered first flight 2008
C919 over 1200 units ordered and 10 delivered first flight 2017
C929 first orders have been placed first flight possibly 2030? but would be good see 10 years between C919 and C929 so approx. 2027
C939 should see the prototype in the coming years lets say 10 years after C929 so maybe around 2037

within 30 years China has made tremendous achievements in Commercial aviation

no doubt the level of indigenous parts will increase and so will foreign orders

154 units of ARJ-21/C909 have delivered so far. this year alone COMAC delivered 32 units.

total 13 units have delivered so far and this year COMAC have deliver 9 units of C919.

in 2024, COMAC is all set to deliver 45-50 units of commercial aircrafts. if everything goes well then by 2026, COMAC will become 3rd largest commercial aircraft manufacturer in the world after Boeing/Airbus..

According to local media, AVIC Aircraft Landing Gear Co., Ltd taken over the C919 landing gear system as the main supplier in order to achieve independent supply of this critical components and growing production capacity of C919.. they are building the Commercial aircraft landing gear production line. it will be the largest and most advanced production line in whole of Asia for commercial aircraft..

previously it was AVIC Changsha and Liebherr joint venture GmbH is the supplier.. this time AVIC decided to go alone.

so are we seeing the Chinese gradually replacing foreign providers with their own?
