I am very surprised that the manufacturing process is manual labour... I would have thought they integrate higher levels of automation to reduce the pricepoint of parts & increase production efficiencies.

It is back in service.According to Chinese APP 航旅纵横, in early August there has been several flights which should be carried out by B-919C replaced by planes from airbus. On 13th, after all the passengers were aboard, the B919C occurred some problem which can not be fixed. The flight MU9190 delayed about 3h and finally replaced by a A320.

Considering it is a new aircraft series, is C919 under much more strict checking by the airport before taking off? That is what I am interesting in.
