kinda metal that these are also real life deities in Chinese culture, not saying such deities haven’t been part of gaming before like Guan Yu in Dynasty Warriors or Three Kingdoms, but given the magnitude of this AAA game, it’s reversed. Imagine if you were playing Skyrim and there are real countries and cultures in the modern world that worship Aedra and Daedra, like there are temples to Nocturnal or Talos or Meridia.
We even set KPI requirements for those gods with deities, if they did not get good result at end of the year, they will lose their god job and another similar guy would be recruited. Very competitive hah.

Who says there's no diversity in Black Myth...?

Here you have a half man/half woman demon. In a game about Chinese mythological creatures, what were they expecting?

Spoiler alert lol

What's odd about some of the claims about reviewers and commentators there weren't sufficient numbers of female characters/NPCs/enemies in the game is that even from the pre-release trailers there were quite a few, and varied in characterization.

Even assuming there was underlying hostility or bias in those assertions, the lack of awareness to do their job properly is very much reflection of genuine incompetence that journalists of all stripes and specialties seem susceptible to.

Be me play for 5 hours straight before stalling, forgot you can craft armor and weapons. Get stuck on a angry feline dude for 40min. Goes to shrine sees craft equipment feels stupid, craft new gear. Goes on to spank the angry feline for my mistake.

This game is made for furries it's way to diverse.

DEI is revealed to be the “make work” jobs for the elite overcapacity, and jobs for the failsons and fail daughters of the western elite.

in a way Elden Ring was also a game for girly pop and trans with themes of Marika and Radagon and there being more strong enemy females as opposed to male ones eg Malenia, Leda, Rellana, etc
