What a nice Christmas present, Where Winds Meet just released in China today. Be interesting to see Chinese player's impressions. Interesting that they decided to go with the F2P route and there was some apprehension about Netease, but seeing as how well Netease handled Marvel Rivals ' monetization then if Where Winds Meet can nail the gameplay we might have another hit. Just surprised how little marketing this game has gotten.

Surprising they went the f2p route looked like it had good enough quality to go retail. Gonna bet you will exp bonus stuff to lvl up. Hopefully they can keep it at skins/transmog and not p2w the I'm fine.

Authoritarian country too scared to show tits is now making the mostly popular hero shooter in history? What went wrong for Western game development?

Chinese companies need to start creating monopolistic IP that the US/Japan have like marvel, dc, disney, star wars, gundam, dragon ball... Its great they created a good game .... but its still foreign IP. Would be interesting if like they made llike "Jin Yong World Rivals" and it became widely popular.

the game's revised presentation on both PS5 and PS5 Pro as of the recent patch. TL;DR: Quality Mode improved, Balanced Mode great on 120Hz display, Performance Mode still weird with frame generation. PS5 Pro implementation conservative but solid.
