Correction: Infinity Nikki will launch on December 5, including Playstation 5.

This game knows it's target audience.

Still, a lot of 30 year old males will download and play it to discover their inner cutie.

We are getting some news from Girls Frontline 2, including a new animated preview. Game currently is on beta. Gives me Arknights vibes here. For those who didn't know, Arknights is from former Girls Frontline Devs that left the company and hooked with Hyperglyph. This is a game I can be hooked with it's tactical gameplay.

Very few in China cares about Emmys because very few in China watches American TV. Even the Oscars is less and less relevant as Hollywood's popularity decreases. Single player PC/console gaming is the last bastion of Western dominance in pop culture (Japan is a Western country). Give it a decade or two and most Chinese players won't be paying attention to Western video gaming awards show either, as people will be playing less and less Western games.

at The Game Awards this year, alongside Astro Bot, Balatro, Metaphor: Refantazio, Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth and Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree.

Black Myth: Wukong was also nominated for Best Game Direction, Best Art Direction, and Best Action Game.

I doubt BM:W will win GOTY, but being nominated is credible to it and given the scale of its success it would've somewhat created waves if it was ignored.

I thought Shadow of the Erdtree was great, but I'm not a fan of DLCs/expansions being up for GOTY, even if it is one as comprehensive and large scale as SOTE.

i have no objection to DLC getting GOTY in principle. The problem with SoTE is it breaks no new ground, just more of the same only of worse quality. Exploration is both more tedious (due to overuse of verticality) and less rewarding. Boss fights are overtuned and less fun (Midra was the only top tier fight for me). Replacing evergoals with goals decreases dungeon variety. The ending is unfinished.

DLCs should only be GOTY if it improves on the base game, not when it's more of the same only worse.

EDIT:
Oh I almost forget another reason SoTE shouldn't be GOTY is because it made my fav live streamer cry

For the HSR followers out there.

Drip marketing released.

It's number 83 of the Genius Society, and it's Madame Herta in her true form, not her early teen puppets she leaves around the space station.

She does kinda gives off the Genshin Lisa vibes which point to Lisa becoming a Hoyo archetype that they propagate in different versions of their universes.

What's an archetype?

Basically a recurring motif, symbol of in this case, a person, that appears in different forms through out Hoyo's game universes.

One example of a Hoyo Archetype is Dr. Mei from Gun Girls Z or Honkai Gakuen. She did a lot of evil things like you would expect of any mad scientist anime trope, trying to create a super soldier (the first Kiana).

Who does she remind you of? Her archetypes have branched and you can find them as:

Raiden Mei (Hi3rd)
Raiden Ei (GI)
Acheron (HSR)

But it doesn't end there as HSR allows for multiple archetypes to exist, just like Belobog's Bronya and Silverwolf to Bronya from GGZ and Hi3rd. In fact I expect a Bronya archetype to emerge as Genshin's Cryo Archon in Snezhnaya but that's another story for a different day.

In HSR, there are two other Mei archetypes and they are Belobog's Pela and the Genius Society's Ruan Mei, the latter conveniently another mad scientist trope.
