As long as it's made by a Chinese and not by any western developer. I do not expect them to do our side without modern-day politics and some real-world history. If it's done today, it's going to be more AC shadows than Ghost in Tsushima. There will be no respect for the culture or people at hand. But that's difficult on its own since that Fallout ain't following real-world history. China in the Fallout series is like Cold War-era China but no one ever left the Cold War and instead just evolved further into it.

But what if there is a twist? Every thing we know about China in Fallout is through distorted via propaganda. It is like how China today is villainized through the 1.6 billion dollar counter disinformation bill. If China is truly that bad then why are there Chinese sympathizers of non-Chinese ethnicities in the Appalachians? These are interesting things to explore.

I agree, I just don't think BGS or any other western developers will be able to pull this off. Maybe a Chinese studio but at that point I would rather they make their own game and universe to go with it. Apocalyptic themes have always been pretty popular with the Chinese people so all that is needed is to have someone do it.

It's kinda implied fallout America is a very unreliable narrator.

The only stuff you can find that comes directly from China is the stealth suits. Weirdly enough they do not look like retro tech at all, and actually more similar to what you'd expect from 2070s armor. Also the submarine AI from fallout 2, but that's just a block of computer.

One interpretation is that fallout US was essentially a pariah state, hence why stuff looks like it's a blend of new and old. China decided to take them out for whatever reason, and it went to nuclear war.

On the other hand there's that 1 mission in Far harbor where a Chinese submarine is shown to look exactly the same as an US submarine which is kinda mind boggling.

Why use the existing Fallout IP at all? There's almost zero chance of this happening due to licensing issues. Easier to just go with a fresh setting.

Well, Concord news just got worse...

200 million for acquisition only to find out the game during mid-development was total butt cheeks and then spending another 200 million to try to "fix" it and this is the final product we've received... Truly more money than brains which is funny because it's Sony and if you know Sony then you would know they are always strapped for cash.

They could've made a new Spider Man game, a new God of War game, a new Bloodborne game...

They could’ve but they didn’t. Hence innovation on behalf of the west is dead. China is now our only hope since Korea and Japan are starting to be infested by all these DEI companies that seek to push there agenda at any cost

Concord is easy to fix. Just update the character skins into scantily clad females and it'll sell like hot cakes.

Unlikely to work on two counts:

1) won't happen in any reasonable alternative timeline since it is against the political views of the developers,

2) even if did happen, scantily clad females won't help a middling game that costs $40 in a segment where established competitors are free.

Seriously, no one pays for bikini pictures since the 1990s.
