That'd be around $17 million per year. Fixed costs could be another $20 million I suppose. It's still pretty steep. For comparison, GTA 5 took something like $200 million to make and they had over 1000 employees at the time.

I live in Washington, and Bellevue is quite expensive. They should've hired me as a consultant. I would've advised them to pull the plug after the first $10 million.

AAA game development needs to move out of the West Coast asap.

$700 for digital PS5 pro, stand sold separately.

Sony thinks they Apple now.
Sony and Microsoft are done as console manufacturers imo. They both foolishly bought into the idea of porting to PCs are a good idea for their business. Playstation has a chance to survive, but they need new leadership.

Microsoft owns the PC platform so they'll be fine. Playstation needs to become more Nintendo like, but with better HW.

Xbox is in more trouble than Playstation. Playstations are really popular. I might buy this PS5 Pro actually.
That's sad. I used to love Xbox, especially with halo and gears of war and army of two (I know it's not exclusive to Xbox, but halo was a strong start).

I always thought Xbox could continue to compete with PS but sadly not the case. Microsoft also lost HDDVD to BluRay (not that it matters anymore), but I wonder if they just don't care enough about Xbox to make an effort.
