read somewhere it's probably a test wing for composite materials research

not sure if its a real wing section or a flyable wing, don't see any flaps

yes, but judging from service hatches placement, 'forward' for wing console is to the upper side of the photo. this fact and other details doesn't match 'Wind Blade' wing console
may be test article though, but thanks for pulling this up back to surface anyway

judging from the size,it look like a very large attack UAV,during the afghan air war, there are plan to convert B-52 into unmanned attack or bomber drone.but it was abandone.
the technology is not new, during the early 70's FAA do have plan to convert all airline into semi drone.
plan in case of mid air hijack,the ground controller could override pilot control and fly the entire aircraft from the ground.in fact they even build a prototype,but it prove to expensive for the airline industries to retrofit it.
