This is so fucking over. Today I’ve had the pleasure of convincing a recently Red Note Pilled US veteran friend that China is not an Utopia and in fact does have its own problems too…
"China's short drama industry is increasingly strengthening its foothold in the United States, which already stands as its largest international market."
Are they made by Japanese companies though? Apparently Chinese companies localized their short dramas for Japan and it's very popular already. On TikTok I've seen Japanese remakes of these short dramas, totally same scripts, in Japanese setting. Won't be surprised if there are also Korean, Vietnamese, Thai etc remakes.
The closest thing to the new years Gala they are aware of is Shen Yun, and Shen Yun does not set the bar too highJust realized that TikTok refugees will probably be wowed by the turd fest that’s the modern day CCTV New Year’s Day gala. We may end up in a world where more foreigners watch it than Chinese citizens!
It's because in China, AI is seen as a productivity multiplier, where automating or accelerating certain tasks allows people to focus on things AI can't yet do and/or just have more time to enjoy life; whereas in the US, in true feudal fashion, AI is first and foremost a monopoly cash flow machine and people are at best a temporary profit center.I think for China that AI will have a net positive effect for the common man in the street, whereas for the US it will have a net negative effect.
Wow.. i havent seen those... do u hav a link? Just curious how it looks...On TikTok I've seen Japanese remakes of these short dramas, totally same scripts, in Japanese setting. Won't be surprised if there are also Korean, Vietnamese, Thai etc remakes.

90% of short drama in Japan is from Chinese companies.金光国介绍,中国的短剧出海平台占据了当下日本微短剧市场90%以上的份额。同一时间,日本本土企业和邻近的韩国也在发力。
