I think for China that AI will have a net positive effect for the common man in the street, whereas for the US it will have a net negative effect.
It's because in China, AI is seen as a productivity multiplier, where automating or accelerating certain tasks allows people to focus on things AI can't yet do and/or just have more time to enjoy life; whereas in the US, in true feudal fashion, AI is first and foremost a monopoly cash flow machine and people are at best a temporary profit center.

On TikTok I've seen Japanese remakes of these short dramas, totally same scripts, in Japanese setting. Won't be surprised if there are also Korean, Vietnamese, Thai etc remakes.
Wow.. i havent seen those... do u hav a link? Just curious how it looks...

What i saw r advestisement of a Korean short drama app, not sure if China owned, or SK copied the concept?

90% of short drama in Japan is from Chinese companies.

I think Korea is putting up a fight, but Chinese competition are still tough. That Korean short drama app might just be Chinese owned already.

You, a commie, blue-pilled a red pilled MAGA?

Those red pilled MAGA people will come across the many "China is not an immigrant countries" posts on Xiaohongshu, and think that he is lying to them about China to prevent the mass migration of barbarians into China.

霸总 and 隐藏千金 type stories are easy to relate for viewers everywhere. Those 龙殿至尊 type would also be readily understood within the east Asian hanzi cultural sphere, but I wonder how well they would translate for western audiences. Maybe something like multi-generational secret guardians of the sword of Excalibur
