The SGR RF broadband transceiver independently developed by Saimai Measurement & Control is based on the open PXI architecture.   • SEpA-i635 EBI (Electron Beam Inspection): Features ultra-high beam current (microampere-level pre-charge, nanoampere-level imaging), enabling detection of electrical defects in advanced memory wafers. Inspection speed exceeds 3x previous generation, with performance on par with international leaders.
  • SEpA-r655 DR-SEM (Defect Review): Equipped with five-channel imaging (4 side + 1 top detector), advanced 3D defect visualization, deep-layer analysis, and a DUV microscopy module for elemental composition. Supports compound semiconductors and thick wafers. Inspection speed improved by over 2x, earning it the "Industrial Chain Breakthrough Award" at the conference.
  • SEpA-c505 CD-SEM (Critical Dimension Metrology): New high-speed film transfer stage and advanced Electron Optical System (EOS) deliver resolution and repeatability comparable to top-tier international 12-inch systems. Enhanced software supports advanced measurement algorithms for next-gen processes.
Most notably, Oriental Crystal Source unveiled its new High-Voltage Electron Beam System (HV-SEM) for the first time. With landing energy >40 keV, it enables "see-through" imaging for deep structures (e.g., 3D-NAND, DRAM, 14nm and below logic), supporting precise measurement of CD, CDU, and overlay accuracy. Moore Threads is looking to raise 8B RMB in IPO, 7B of which will be used to develop 3 next generation chips for AI inference/training, GPU and AI SoC. It is getting close to turning a profit.
Chinese companies IPO too early these days. It shows how little funding they are getting from VCs. Compare that with US startups who are not doing IPO despite 100s of billion dollars of valuation all because of huge VC money.

I would hope Chinese chip companies would IPO much later after they mature a little bit.

The more I read into things like this the more I realize that there are very few circles of people who actually have the knowledge to know what's going on with china's semiconductor industry. Even more so for western outlets and even big organizations like morgan stanley just have no clue what they are talking about.

Technical people tend not to be the ones writing media reports.

looks like 江波龙 with new SOCAMM2 product using LPDDR5x DRAM die to have 8533MT/s transfer speed. Not sure whose DRAM die they are using. I just assume it's either SK or Samsung

RoboSense officially announced: EMX has officially started mass delivery to multiple automotive customers.​

On September 9th, RoboSense announced the official start of mass production of its flagship digital LiDAR product, the EMX, to multiple automotive customers. This marks the full entry of RoboSense's next-generation automotive digital LiDAR platform, the EM platform, into mass production, encompassing the EMX, EM4, and customized versions.

EMX is a "true 192-line" vehicle-mounted main lidar, targeting the L2 assisted driving market; EM4 is the industry's only mass-produced digital lidar with over 500 lines, supporting customization from 520 to 2160 lines, serving high-level autonomous driving scenarios.
This year, leveraging breakthroughs in full-stack chip integration and comprehensive digitalization, RoboSense launched the EM platform, specifically for long-range LiDAR. The EM4 and EMX products were released in January and April, respectively. Less than six months after its release, the EM platform has secured orders for 45 models from eight of the world's leading automakers.

The EMX has secured orders from numerous domestic and international automakers, including Geely Auto Group, FAW Hongqi, a leading Chinese new energy vehicle manufacturer, one of Japan's top three automakers, and a joint venture established in China by one of Europe's largest automakers. The EMX is the exclusive supplier for 32 models from a leading Chinese new energy vehicle manufacturer. The EM4 has secured orders from numerous domestic and international automakers, including Geely Auto Group, SAIC Zhiji, a leading global pure electric pickup truck brand, and a joint venture between a leading European luxury car brand. For terminal brand manufacturers, multiple SKUs need to be maintained for different capacity configurations.
