Saimai Testing & Control completes nearly 100 million yuan in Series A financing, further accelerating the development of domestic high-end testing and measurement fields!​


Recently, Suzhou Saimai Measurement & Control Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Saimai Measurement & Control") completed a nearly 100 million yuan Series A financing round , jointly invested by October Capital, old shareholder Yida Capital , Yuanhe Houwang, etc. , demonstrating the capital market's continued recognition and firm confidence in Saimai Measurement & Control's technical strength, development potential and domestic instrument substitution path.

The core members of Saimai Measurement & Control mainly come from top test and measurement instrument companies at home and abroad. Since its establishment in 2021, the company has focused on the research and development, production and sales of PXI modular test and measurement instruments and test systems, insisting on self-developed controllable technology routes, and continuously improving the modular instrument platform based on the PXI bus . The SGR RF broadband transceiver independently developed by Saimai Measurement & Control is based on the open PXI architecture. It combines compact size, high test efficiency and excellent performance and reliability of a desktop instrument. It is widely used in R&D and production testing in the fields of semiconductors, T/R components, satellite communications and advanced communication prototype verification.

The newly launched SNA vector network analyzer in 2025 features high precision, multi-port functionality, and flexible scalability. At the 2025 Jiwei Semiconductor Conference (July 3–5, Shanghai Zhangjiang Science Hall), Oriental Crystal Source made a significant impact by unveiling its latest advancements in electron beam metrology and inspection technologies, reinforcing its leadership in China’s semiconductor equipment industry. The company showcased its next-generation portfolio across four core front-end electron beam applications:​

  • SEpA-i635 EBI (Electron Beam Inspection): Features ultra-high beam current (microampere-level pre-charge, nanoampere-level imaging), enabling detection of electrical defects in advanced memory wafers. Inspection speed exceeds 3x previous generation, with performance on par with international leaders.
  • SEpA-r655 DR-SEM (Defect Review): Equipped with five-channel imaging (4 side + 1 top detector), advanced 3D defect visualization, deep-layer analysis, and a DUV microscopy module for elemental composition. Supports compound semiconductors and thick wafers. Inspection speed improved by over 2x, earning it the "Industrial Chain Breakthrough Award" at the conference.
  • SEpA-c505 CD-SEM (Critical Dimension Metrology): New high-speed film transfer stage and advanced Electron Optical System (EOS) deliver resolution and repeatability comparable to top-tier international 12-inch systems. Enhanced software supports advanced measurement algorithms for next-gen processes.
Most notably, Oriental Crystal Source unveiled its new High-Voltage Electron Beam System (HV-SEM) for the first time. With landing energy >40 keV, it enables "see-through" imaging for deep structures (e.g., 3D-NAND, DRAM, 14nm and below logic), supporting precise measurement of CD, CDU, and overlay accuracy. This milestone completes the company’s full coverage of the four core electron beam technology areas in the front-end process. In parallel, the company emphasized its integrated yield-enhancing ecosystem, featuring:
