Anhui 8-inch MEMS wafer production line project has made the latest progress.​


the 8-inch MEMS wafer production line project of Anhui Huaxin Micro-Nano Integrated Circuit Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Huaxin Micro-Nano ), with a total investment of 5.06 billion yuan, has made the latest progress. The project is currently in the process stringing stage of the main products and is expected to be completed by the end of June.

Public information shows that the 8-inch MEMS wafer production line invested and constructed by Anhui Huaxin Micro-Nano Integrated Circuit Co., Ltd. is located in Zone D of China Sensor Valley in Bengbu, with a construction investment of 5.06 billion yuan, a land area of about 154 acres, and a total construction area of 87,000 square meters. After the project is completed, the monthly production capacity will reach 30,000 pieces, and it is expected to become the largest MEMS wafer output production line in China. It will also be the first 8-inch piezoelectric MEMS mass production line in China.

Huaxin Micro-Nano's 8-inch MEMS wafer production line project is mainly dedicated to the production and research and development of sensor chips involving industrial agriculture, medical vehicle electronics, and aerospace. At present, the project has completed the move-in and testing of all equipment, and the entire project is expected to be officially put into production in June this year.

I wouldn't be surprised if Jensen gave tech to China behind the scenes for public softball treatment of Nvidia in China. You can't sell your best tech to China or the US is gonna have a fit, but what they don't know they can't stop.

By continuously optimizing the performance of growth equipment and strictly verifying the stability of the process, Huaxin Jingdian has successfully broken through the technical bottleneck of gallium oxide guided mode growth. The R&D team has established a precise control system for key technical links such as temperature gradient control, impurity element distribution regulation and growth rate optimization during crystal growth, which has significantly improved the common industry problems such as the easy generation of twin defects in gallium oxide. The third-party testing data show that the 2-inch gallium oxide crystal developed by Huaxin Jingdian has reached the international advanced level in core quality indicators such as dislocation density control and rocking curve half-height width, among which the dislocation density is 5440cm-² and the rocking curve half-height width is 71.33arcsec.

In response to the needs of industrial development, Huaxin Jingdian will, on the one hand, continue to invest in R&D resources to deepen the process flow, promote the technical research of large-size crystal growth and improve high-quality stability; on the other hand, it will actively build an industrial collaborative ecosystem, strengthen joint innovation with downstream thin-film device companies, and focus on promoting the application of gallium oxide crystal materials in strategic fields such as high-performance power devices and photoelectric detection, contributing more to the development of the industry.
