They are 2 years late to the party. Seriously, why is this article being published now? It's like telling people to go buy defense stocks due to the Russia-Ukraine war today, instead of 3 year ago. Most of this companies have already seen vast improvements in their earning and their stock prices should reflect that.

Because this is about the standard lag for much of foreign news media and commentators in being able to smell the cheese of Chinese side developments, and tbh I would wager even this article represents a minority view if you were to survey the usual lot of "specialists" in this domain.
Earnings themselves will not tie themselves to stock values -- there is still much more room to grow, and more importantly to have the potential to be much more free of risk from retaliatory, extra-territorial measures from the US. Right now their stock value is neither here nor there in context of their potential.
