Hisense Group and JinkoSolar sign RGB Mini LED technology cooperation agreement.​


On October 16th, Hisense Group held its Global Supply Chain Partner Summit in Qingdao. Lianjing Intelligent Electronics Co., Ltd. (Lianjing Intelligent), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Guangdong Jinko Electronics Co., Ltd. ( Jinko Electronics , stock code: 2551.HK), a key strategic partner of Hisense Group, was invited to attend the summit and formally signed a joint technical cooperation project on the research and industrialization of RGB Mini LED multi-primary color module systems. Hou Yu, President of Jinko Electronics, was in attendance and signed the agreement.

This project focuses on core technologies for next-generation high-color gamut displays. The joint R&D project centers on RGB Mini LED multi-primary LED light source architectures, precise color value control algorithms, and efficient drive systems. The goal is to create a precise color-controlled display module solution that combines high brightness, high contrast, and high color purity. Through joint technical research and industrial collaboration, the two parties will accelerate the innovative application of multi-primary display technology in televisions, commercial displays, and automotive displays.

President Hou Yu stated, " Innovation in RGB Mini LED multi-primary color module system technology will be key to the next round of upgrades in the display industry . JinkoSolar will continue to use technological innovation as an engine to drive the development of the smart display industry, enabling more users to enjoy the wonderful charm of smart displays at a higher cost-performance. "

Silan Microelectronics plans to invest 20 billion yuan to build a 12-inch chip production line in Xiamen​


Silan Microelectronics has announced a major strategic move by signing a cooperation agreement with the Xiamen Municipal Government and Haicang District on October 18 to establish a 12-inch high-end analog integrated circuit chip manufacturing production line in Xiamen. The project, valued at 20 billion yuan, will be executed under an IDM (Integrated Device Manufacturer) model and will feature full independent intellectual property rights. The initiative marks Silan’s deepening commitment to strengthening its position in the semiconductor industry chain, with a clear focus on advanced analog chip technology that meets growing domestic and global demand.

The project is managed by Silan Jihua, a newly established entity formed in June 2025, which will oversee construction and operations. The production line will operate in two phases: the first phase, requiring an investment of 10 billion yuan (6.01 billion in capital and 3.99 billion in bank loans), is expected to achieve a monthly production capacity of 20,000 wafers after completion. This includes building key infrastructure such as factory buildings, power stations, and process equipment. The second phase will add an additional 25,000 wafers per month, bringing the total monthly output to 45,000 pieces equivalent to 540,000 annually after full ramp-up.

Capital for the first phase is being raised through a joint investment by Silan Microelectronics, its subsidiary Xiamen Silan Microelectronics, Xiamen Semiconductor, and New Wing Technology. Together, they will contribute RMB 1.5 billion each, with New Wing Technology pledging an additional RMB 2.1 billion, bringing the total capital increase to RMB 5.11 billion, raising Silan Jihua’s registered capital from RMB 10 million to this level. The remaining RMB 900 million will be raised later through other investors. The second phase follows a similar funding structure and will require further approvals, highlighting the project's long-term scale and strategic importance in China’s semiconductor development.​

However, it had tried to IPO many times but was rejected by the question, "Bro, have you sold your core product? How will you guarantee cash flow?"

Finally, they had to admit in the tender document that the Lithography Dual-table had not received final acceptance by SMEE and resignedly deleted it from their main product line. Now, they have relegated themselves to the sales of precision measurement parts.

The dual table is still in the production line, I just posted a promotion of it a few days ago. Along with their grating interferometers.

Huazhuo Jingke still doing research and improved their products also filled couple of Patents last year. but these interferometers are not only use in Lithography but in other high end tools and equipment too.

but just look at HIT line up.. their associated company already sold 150 sets. SMEE/Yuliangsheng/CETC have now reliable options.

According to Hard Krypton, LinkGen Technology recently completed an angel round of financing exceeding 10 million yuan. Investors include Qihang Investment Management's Beijing Science and Technology Development Qihang Fund and Zhongfa Xinchuang Fund, both subsidiaries of Zhongguancun Development Group. The funds will be primarily used for the research and development and industrialization of core products such as ultra-precision laser interferometers, nanoscale motion modules, and ultra-precision aperture systems, as well as to build engineering and delivery capabilities at its Shenzhen headquarters.

Link Technology was founded in December 2024 and was born based on the technological achievements of Harbin Institute of Technology. It focuses on providing ultra-precision photoelectric measurement and ultra-precision motion control products, customization and application complete solutions.

This open the door for more companies entering the lithography market, like I said and also help companies to localize export controlled ultra precision components in nanoimprint lithography machines, Hybrid Bonders and Metrology tools. Apart of course of high precision CNC machines and other special manufacturing machines.

Recently (or rather, consistently), social media hype surrounding lithography and ASML has led to excessive focus on the lithography machines themselves, while the greater transformation lies within the entire industrial chain.

This is also why I believe the progress of domestically produced DUV/EUV systems won't be too rapid—because it truly involves full autonomy and control across all aspects. But when it is finally completed, the domestic supply chain behind it will be exceptionally robust.
We saw this with the SiCarrier product announcements and just in general when it comes to lithography. People too focused on lithography rather than what else is necessary out there.

Even if China did have advanced lithography machines, it would still need the ecosystem surrounding it. So when we see the oscilloscope and the EDA tools, it's just as important as the actual machine itself. Maybe even more important.

China probably doesn't want to reveal their lithography whilst the other systems aren't fully ready yet. Without those systems, lithography is just a rubber duck with a few mirrors on it.

in last couple of days, we have seen many unknown companies surfaced and showed us the line up of precision components of ultra high end equipment include Litho. i especially loved that largest coating machine for Lithography mirrors.

for High-NA EUV mirrors, Zeiss build special one of its kind 150 tons measurement tool/chamber for testing only.. CIOMP/SIOMP the only two players right now have resource to build this. maybe they already have some kind of testing machine.
