Their 10 nm performance is comparable to 7 nm from other manufacturers I believe.since when Intel is able to produce 7nm ?

90nm or 28nm? your bet.
Jin Cunzhong said that although domestic lithography machines have been successfully developed, related products have not yet entered the production line of integrated circuit wafer production.
7 nm is not a hard standard. There are no features on the chip that are exactly 7 nm across. It is an equivalent planar transistor density.welll, thats not 7nm
Intel has been struggling even to get to 10nm, even without any sanctions ... I don't believe they have achieved 7nm yet
I think they are talking about the FrontEnd IC lithography market, an area were ASML has a monopoly in China and SMEE is a bit late in the area, hopefully with the new Arf immersion litho machines and the pressure of US sanctions they can start the virtuous cycle of development in the FrontEnd area of integrated circuit production. How come another paper said that SMEE lithography has 40% market share in packaging lithography?
One of them is lying. But the source that said 40% SMEE market share in packaging lithography is a consulting company paid to be right.
TAIPEI -- Taiwanese regulators will soon have new powers to block domestic tech companies from selling off their subsidiaries or other assets in China, the latest move by Taipei to prevent the leak of sensitive technologies, including semiconductors, to the mainland.
Biotech firms are aiding Chinese military?DJI get sanctioned today. Xiaomi, Lenovo, and other Chinese electronic and phone makers will be next.
The woman who is giving away that island semiconductor industry to the U.S. Again, who is going to buy that island made chips if the DPP and TSMC is prostituting their cutting edge technology to the U.S., Japan, Europe? ahhh the same Chinese that they despise so much.
