Silicon Valley prices are inflated anyway.
Salary is still needs to double/triple to catch up to Silicon Valley.

@styx bro in truth I like Italian product and style , German engineering, Russian grit, Spanish Flamenco, Greek philosophy and French fervor. Those six is what makes Europe exciting, the rest is like a carbon copy of the sixed listed above. What I'm concern about is the unelected EU bureaucrats want to have a common identity, it's sad if it does happen.Gucci wins the wars?
They made a lot more than they told you.

Chinese housing prices are surprisingly even more inflated than Silicon Valley. Xi is right in trying to bring it down.Silicon Valley prices are inflated anyway.

@xypher bro tell that to my wife, she will answer back that the purchase is an investment....lol and she is correct reselling those bags and shoes for profit. Since then I never argue with her whenever she buy an expensive branded accessories. There is nothing to reverse engineer from Gucci and others. They are mediocre products that get boosted by brand name and white worship. Quality counterfeits (not $1-2 ones) are essentially their carbon copies that you won't be able to distinguish unless you were told from the start. You won't see such situations with the products that actually rely on technology and R&D rather than brand groupthink. For example, Apple has both but you won't ever find a cheap carbon copy of the iPhone - it will have inferior hardware and software, making it a completely different and objectively worse product.
