1. Who cares? The US is stealing TSMC's technology in broad daylight and no one can do a thing
No it isn't, otherwise it wouldn't cost 5x as much for the Arizona fab as the fabs in Taiwan. You are not a subject matter expert in this so you wouldn't know what stealing even looks like or what could possibly be stolen.

Show me the article that says they exist.

Self-sufficiency means making phones that don't sell American/Taiwanese chips. Even with this digression, America has no chance to catch Huawei's 5G.

For China and Huawei.

I say bye. I wanted the claim that all the riots in the US cost under $1B.

Show me the source on what you think happened and how much China spent. I can't help but feel you are making everything up.

You are literally arguing with Chinese people on this forum who live in the US and want to see it fail against China. Your claims are far to stupid and that is easy to demonstrate.

That's not what the growth trends show. It's only your wishful imagination.

Imaaaaggginnnatioonnnn (Sing it like South Park LOL)

And that repression causes people to participate by setting property on fire and ransacking the capital building threatening to kill the Vice President and Speaker of the House.

Especially during Filibusters and Congress vs House, Dem vs. Rep deadlocks, right? LOL

And young people with longer term damage from COVID.

1. No, the US economy was slower than China's and is now much slower than China's.
2. You really sound like a person who hates old people and anything good. I guess that's what it takes to support the US...

Paper means nothing compared to real life. It works, China did it, but eventually, you want to be good enough not to need to do it.

I dream of a day when you can read charts and trends, but I'm not hopeful so I'll look at them and be happy seeing China out grow the US.

There's a time to be a bandit and a time to rely on your true value. For China, the time to be a bandit was when it was technologically poor and needed boosts everywhere. Now it is a leader in technology and has more momentum than any other country so it will rely on its own innovation and being the best researcher. America is not as fortunate; it used to rely on being the best researcher but now can only be a bandit because its natural population is too lazy and it finds that it cannot compete naturally, so it has no way to match China's natural speed, even through thievery.

The most relaxed person who imagines decapitating countries and bullies being king forever. Somehow, I find this as funny as your claim that everyone in the US is loyal to it LOL
Stop wasting time with that troll, stay on topic.

Now this is China semiconductor thread NOT a China hate thread or you either stay on topic or GTFO of this thread.
Where are the moderators?
Moderators cannot be 24hr online and checking the forum all the time. They probably left for some hours to do their own things while thinking that surely this forum would be working (it didnt) for some hours unsupervised

@Bltizo, @Deino, @siegecrossbow please clean this up. Many threads have been derailed by @SleepyStudent who is obviously here just to troll

Unbelievable isn't it? They blew TRILLIONS and had nothing to show for it other than destitute homeless population exploding all over America. Afghanistan was an epic fail for the ages. Yet you have these numbskulls poking Russia and China at the same time. Who are these geniuses?
The trillions was successfully transferred to the billionaires.

This is great news for China! That means that 3nm is coming at around the end of 2022 to start of 2023.
This new development gives more time for Chinese IC companies to close the technological gap with TSMC
This may sound extreme, but China should impose export taxes for Apple products, unless all sanctions on all Chinese companies are lifted. This would send Apple and foxconn into disarray, the US stock market into a tailspin, while the foxconn factories in covid-19 stricken India are not even up and running by any means. This would buy more time for Huawei's Kirin and Balong chips, while the perpetrators are scrambling.

@SleepyStudent bro I beg of you please stop, this thread is precious to me and I don't want the mod to locked it, your view and opinion had been heard. lets agree to disagree and moved on or you make a thread where you can discuss whatever topic and view you want.
Just ignore him
Reality will catch up sonner or later.

I wonder when Fully Chinese consumer CPUs and GPUs will become available. The insane markups for the GPUs here in the west is a great opportunity for GPU newcomers but I'm not sure how long it'll last.

It doesn't even need to be cutting edge either, the most common GPUs on steam are still the GTX 1000s and 1600s, which were made on 16, 14 and 12nm processes. A Chinese GPU thats competitive against those but actually in stock would be great.

@SleepyStudent and @manqiangrexue

Both of you please knock it off.

Any further posts from either of you on this topic will be deleted.
I am also going to go back and move a number of both of your posts over the last few pages.

The extent of hostility and off topic discussions is excessive.
Most of what was written in the last few pages is about economics, not semiconductors.
