I thought most of SMEE's suppliers are also based in China?

I was under the impression that Beijing Guowang Optics and Keyi Hongyuan provided the lens and the light source, respectively.light source and lens are probably from Japan.

A lot of journalists, even those with a general science/technology background, often make technical mistakes, unless they're specialists in the field (in which case they'd probably be writing for an industry/professional publication), whether in America or China, or India or Israel.I'm just speculatjng because Japan or Germany would be the obvious choice for the core components if it's actually packaged. So you could be very well correct. I'm also confused as why the article says it produces 28nm chip. I thought 28nm was the resolution? I've never heard of a lithography machine named by the node, its always the resolution. so 28Nm resolution does not mean it can only make 28nm chips.
True ok. Well I guess it's ambiguous than, but to counter that, 28nm is an actual node. ASMLs most advanced DUV machines have a 38nm resolution. So if it's a 28nm resolution then it's more advanced than even ASMLs best DUV machine. I don't know. I guess we'll find out soon enough.A lot of journalists, even those with a general science/technology background, often make technical mistakes, unless they're specialists in the field (in which case they'd probably be writing for an industry/professional publication), whether in America or China, or India or Israel.
