BS. SMIC 28nm production capacity is not even fully filled up.No, that government is allowing TSMC as much as needed before domestic production actually rises to the point where it can fill the void. If the CCP banned TSMC now, SMIC and whomever wouldn't have a chance in hell of filling all of the orders needed. When the SMEE's lithograph is ready and domestic production is actually at the point where it needs more customers, if the Chinese government still allows TSMC to compete and out-compete mainland rivals depriving them of revenue, then I would have a negative view of that policy. Until then, the CCP is doing a stunning job of guiding China towards lithography self-sufficiency as things roll along much more smoothly and quickly than anyone could have anticipated. There's no place for anger now; China needs calm and innovative thinkers, not angry people.
Previously, TSMC almost put SMIC out of business in a lawsuit and Chinese government stayed on side line , didn't step up to protect its own player. Stunning job indeed.
If Chinese government did its job , Chinese industry would have at least 100% Indeginous tech fully operational at 45nm by now.
