From what I read the TSMC Arizona Fab is planned to have a production capacity of 100 000 wafers per month.
That is roughly similar to the capacity of the Samsung Texas Fab.
But it's still planned to be at 5nm.

US inveils latest plan regarding to TSMC.

It won't be just 1 Fab at Arizona but a total of 6!
The size of the all fabs will double of TSMC site size in Taiwan

All engineers from TSMC will double the salaries and in 3 years they are eligible to have US green cards and once they accepted they will have to renounce their Taiwanese pensions and benefits.

Robbing of TSMC from Taiwan!

China needs to ban TSMC at mainland as if turning to become a US company in near future.
.
6 EUV fabs at US, that's pretty wasteful and overkilled

If China can deny them the market,
they will not able to sustain long term.

economy and technology cannot be separated.

I'm telling you guys, the Americans are fanatical about remaining #1.

They have a remarkable ability to get other countries to do their bidding while giving nothing in return.

China has awoken the sleeping giant. She needs as much population, GDP growth, research investment/talent, allies, etc. as she can get. It's basically a wartime situation without the shooting now.

Do not underestimate the determination of the US to suppress China.

The US will stop at nothing to suppress China, which is why Americans and really nice so China should seek better relations with the US, right? LOL What would this relationship be based on? China happily being number 2? And you wonder why people say you're a troll...

Americans are typically nice and it's possible for China to have good relations with them. But once you've awoken their enmity they are an extremely bitter and paranoid foe.

Right, so basically, if you're doing better than them and may surpass them (without attacking them in any way), that awakens their enmity and they become extremely bitter and paranoid. That sounds really really nice to me. I personally like finding friends and investing in relationships with people who will quickly turn into my enemies and stop at nothing to suppress me if I happen to be doing better than them, don't you? Troll

Yes, but don't be deceived. China's competition is with America's elites, not with its proletariat. The latter will think anything of China the elite-controlled media tells them to think.

America is fading.

The Trump administration trade war and tech war was unable to slow down China's economic growth. In fact, now even the trade volume is at record levels.

The next 10-15 years will still see high levels of GDP growth in China, while the US Federal Reserve continues to print money.

The faster growing economy, much faster, with the greater economies of scale and the markets in China and Asia, the tech war will see China leaving America in the dust.

This statement is as stupid as when Americans say that they love Chinese people and stand with them against the CCP. If China's competition is with American elites, and its proletariat follows the direction of their elites, then obviously China's competition is with all of them. Chinese people under the direction of the CCP against American people under the direction of which-ever yahoo happens to have cheated and lied himself into the white house at any time. That's as it should be and painting it any other way is just denial.

The real battle in the US is domestic politics. China is just a blip in most us news story and most Americans have short memories. They might read fake news "uyighur genocide" and say "that is terrible" but they will buy a made-in-china Iphone the next minute. Heck, the same people that was against Iraq war just voted for one of the big supporters of the Iraq war lol. It is just amplify if you are either Chinese or a china watcher/hater.

@horse you're so right bro, one is real GDP growth the other is a speculative paper growth. I heard an interview podcast from The Duran were an African interviewee said that the US should enjoy their accumulated wealth instead of being concern of others, That China provide them a CHOICE and a big BARGAINING leverage against the west instead of being exploited. That destroyed the narrative of Chinese debt trap and see their comment gone berserk ....LOL ;)
