Some fans have gotten Loongson 3A6000 units for preview and videos are slowing coming out. I remember a watching videos of a hobbyist reviewing his 3A3000 during covid and it was stuttering at playing hd video on youtube/bilibil. He didn't run any benchmarks but my guess was that it was running a bit better than my 15 year old core 2 duo. 3-4 years later, Loongson is near 10th gen i3/i5.
Even with binary translation and wine emulation, speed looks reasonable. Early day Macs and current Chromebook didn't become popular because of processor power alone. The question is how will Loongson expand its market share in the crowded cpu space.

i5-10400 has 6 cores and 12 threads but you can turn off cores so the test below is at 4 core too.
