Silicon carbide crystal growth furnace project completed


On August 17, according to "Shanghai Baoshan" news, recently, the Shanghai Hanhong Precision Machinery Reconstruction and Expansion Project in Shanghai Baoshan High-tech Industrial Park successfully obtained the "Construction Project Comprehensive Completion Acceptance Notice" and completed the completion record.

It is understood that the project is under the responsibility of Shanghai Hanhong Precision Machinery Co., Ltd., with a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan , covering an area of 88 acres, with a newly built area of 80,000 square meters, covering 18,000 square meters of research and development offices. The project was completed on November 30, 2021. start working day.

It is reported that the reconstruction and expansion project of Shanghai Hanhong Precision Machinery has settled in the regional headquarters of Ferrotec multinational company and the silicon carbide crystal growth furnace project . After reaching the production capacity, it is expected to produce 300 sets of silicon carbide crystal growth devices and 70 sets of silicon carbide cutting, grinding and polishing equipment .

Founded in 2005, Shanghai Hanhong Precision Machinery Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ferrotec Group , focusing on R&D, production and sales of intelligent precision machinery equipment.

Leakage Reduction of GAA Stacked SI Nanosheet CMOS Transistors and 6T-SRAM Cell Via Spacer Bottom Footing Optimization.​

Abstract:
In this work, the significant leakage reduction approach is proposed and investigated by critical spacer bottom footing (SBF) optimization for gate-all-around (GAA) stacked Si nanosheet (SiNS) transistors. The fabricated GAA stacked SiNS CMOS transistors and standard 6T static random-access memory (SRAM) cell have achieved reduced static-state leakage current by an order of magnitude and improved read static noise margin (RSNM) by +12.67% due to SBF optimization. The performance boosting origins from improving the gate and source/drain overlap doping profile via SBF optimization, and thus suppressing the band to band tunneling leakage current correspondingly. The proposed leakage reduction approach can inspire and broaden the ultralow power performance application for the state-of-the-art GAA nanosheet technology.

As China deepens semiconductor self-sufficiency, including chip manufacturing equipment and key components, Yin Zhiyao said that by the end of this year, 80% of the restricted import components of China Micro Semiconductor can be replaced domestically, and then 100% will be achieved in the second half of next year substitute.

"We have a detailed roadmap for the localization of key components." Yin Zhiyao added at the meeting that the use of domestic components for equipment can further open up the Chinese market of China Microelectronics.

this is extremely important, ceramic components are the core of fluid handling and active vacuum components like electrical feedthroughs and wafer platens in the semiconductor industry.

nothing else has the combination of corrosion resistance, vacuum compatibility, thermal stability and mechanical strength.

They probably didn't come up with this by themselves in 2017, this takes alot of time to develop expertise. Who spun them off/who founded them? No idea.
