these are all just recycling the same report. Kind of meaningless unless we get some more insider news coming outAccording to this Techwire Asia article SMEE will deliver the first 28nm SSA-800 lithography machine by the end of this year. Great news if it is true. But I will believe it when I see it.
Sir @olalavn your prediction had come true. 2024 will be a blockbuster year and a time to celebrate.

You think that have anything to do with the deal that they did with ASML?Havok said there won't be any official delivery announcement from SMEE in light of current circumstances, nor will they put the new machine on their website.
Not to mention big words. Apparently they are going to skip Intel 5 and go right to launching Intel 3 next year, if we were to believe them. The only thing Intel consistently produced in the last 5 years is delays.
Maybe its to setup up SMEE as the ASML agent for China in the worst-case business planning contingencies? Pure speculation on my end but for arguments sake if SMEE acts as a Chinese integrator for ASML finished systems or using ASML sub-systems in its own product integration, it would provide exposure for it to continue acting independently in that capacity if need be.
Shanghai Microelectronics Equipment (Group) Co., Ltd. and ASML established a partnership
Under this memorandum of cooperation, ASML and SMEE will explore the possibility of purchasing specific modules of ASML's lithography systems or products related to the semiconductor industry.
"The global IC industry is actively seeking a technology blueprint to further shrink chip size and provide commercial and consumer users with more powerful but energy-efficient electronic components. The effective implementation of this technology blueprint requires sophisticated and complex manufacturing techniques, which can only It is achieved by pooling knowledge and experience of leading companies, research institutes and universities to form an effective collaborative network," said Paul van Attekum, Senior Vice President of Strategy and Marketing at ASML: "The purpose of our partnership with SMEE this time is to Enhance and strengthen our existing knowledge network in semiconductor lithography, which will benefit all our customers in China and globally."
Another option would be to keep SMEE outside the frontend market and more focus in the backend market, ASML sells them modules and license some of their IP under a no compete clause.Maybe its to setup up SMEE as the ASML agent for China in the worst-case business planning contingencies?
