NAND market also in a down cycle like DRAM. 1Q23 will continue the Q/Q slide. Optimistic views suggest recovery won’t take place until at least 2H23.
YMTC makes up most of the revenue in the “Others” line item on this list.
This seems to be moving really fast. Although I would imagine smic is validating this on its own 28nm process that's not necessarily fully domestic.60W 6KHZ ArFi light source has been validating together with Duvi
深蓝:前面一个帖子,你回复说上微浸没式光刻机在产线上验证55nm工艺节点,很快有结果,最近有消息吗?
havok:60W 6KHZ的ArFi浸没准分子光源样机也在一起验证
When China reaches close parity with the US, Germany, the Dutch, and Japan along the entire supply chain of making semiconductor materials, equipment, and IC chips, even if not including EUV, but at least DUVi machines comparable to mid range ones presently done by ASML, South Korea will likely be quick to adjust itself to do business with whosoever can supply materials and equipment for its companies at a reasonable price. I honestly believe that the Koreans are just about as sick as the US' overbearingness with regards to the semiconductor issue and would be very delighted when the US Alliance system's monopoly is put to an end by China. With Samsung & SK limited in what they can do in China after taking CHIPS ACT money, good opportunity for YMTC to expand. Well, it's not really possible at the moment, but there is a lot of room for them to expand over the next 5 years.
Longer term, it would make sense to have more 3D memory fabs around the country like Unigroup originally enivisioned.
- Just a few questions for clarity, commercial IC chips are mostly divided into three categories processor, memory, and analog chips (these are mostly single function chips like power and sound chips) right?
