It's too pathetic to even be called chump change when you consider the annual revenue generated in relation to the Chinese chip market. $192.5 BILLION in 2021 alone. My guess is that this $500 million spread across 5 years is not intended to supplement lost corporate revenue but to go directly into executive bonuses or even untaxable bribes.Seems incredibly inadequate.
