Is 100k max production capacity? Does it use smee duvi?
I mean that's the announced max capacity. It's not out of normal for Chinese companies to then do second phases that expand things further. We don't know what DUVi it will use. I'm just speculating, since it will be continually getting new machines for a few years and there is a good chance we will see some kind of sanction from Dutch gov't by then.

More details on Loongson's 3D5000 server CPU which is just packaging 2 16 core 3C5000 together

I'm not sure why it's still using SPEC2006 for measuring its performance.

In general, I think Loongson has been trying to promote itself as having performant chips vs domestic competitors while using older node technology (12 nm node). 3A6000 should come out next year.

Shengmei Shanghai's first front-end ArF process glue coating and developing equipment, Ultra LITH, was launched smoothly

Recently, Shengmei Shanghai (Stock Code: 688082), the first rubber coating and developing Track equipment with independent intellectual property rights, Ultra LITH, successfully launched the machine, and successfully delivered the first front-end ArF process rubber coating and developing Track equipment to Chinese domestic customers. The equipment was shipped by Shengmei Semiconductor Equipment (Asia Pacific) Manufacturing Center, which is an important step for the company to enhance its expertise in the field of gluing and developing.

In addition, Shengmei Shanghai will launch the i-line model equipment in 2023, and the company has started to develop the KrF model equipment. The shipment of Ultra LITH, the pre-coating and developing Track equipment, is another achievement of Shengmei Shanghai's continuous expansion of product series. The company is committed to becoming a wafer-level process solution platform. Its products also include single-wafer and tank-type wet process. Cleaning equipment, electroplating equipment, stress-free polishing equipment, vertical furnace tube equipment, and PECVD equipment.

so, we've seen a couple of these announcements about Arf process coating or tools launching in the past couple of weeks. Can these be used for both Arf dry and immersion process? Do these announcements complete their domestic 28 nm process?

That's 10k+ orders just now for all domestic GPUs. If we say that the GPUs they are selling is $250 each, then that is close to $3 million orders just recently for domestic financial and telecom companies. This is just the beginning. I've shown earlier in the thread several domestic PCs that are now using Moore Threads GPUs. The upcoming Chinese chips act is likely going to be a huge boon for them.

On top of that, they are cooperating with both China mobile and China telecom to have their GPUs in cloud computing, meta verse and other places. They've also been invited to China mobile's new nationwide AI lab effort. Looks like China mobile is ver invested in them here. In many ways, they are the GPU company in China to follow, since the design both desktop, cloud gaming and cloud GPUs.

More from Moore Threads. I haven't seen this on their website yet, but other sites are announcing it.

. I guess it's so new that they don't have any specs for it on the website yet. But it claims to use their latest S30 GPU. Keep in mind that they've already scored quite a few orders based on the announcement 2 days ago. This seems like a new order.

I think both, Kingsemi and ACM track tools support ArF immersion lithography. Yes, this a great for filling the gaps in China lithography ecosystem and supply chain.

Kunlun has come out with R100 accelerator card for edge computing needs using its Kunlun-2 XPU chips. This is 2.3 times as fast as first generation K100 accelerator card.

based on their product mix, looks like there is also a R300 accelerator card from AI Cloud training.

Kunlun-2 chip uses 7 nm technology and is not the most advanced chips out there compared to A100 or BR100, but it can be stacked together to have similar performances and maybe use a little more power. More than anything, it is well integrated into Baidu's PaddlePaddle framework and is widely used in Baidu AI cloud.

While Biren tech might have attracted the attention of natsec hawks, both Kunlun and Moore Thread GPUs appear to have more general purpose usage and are not violating any sanction threshold. They are also better integrated into the major tech firms' cloud infrastructure for not just AI training, but many other usage like cloud gaming, edge computing, data center computation and meta verse.
so the official release here from Kunlun

Definitely the low power consumption version. Can do 170 TOPS for INT8 at 75W. Keep in mind that A100 does 624 TOPS at 400W and Kunlun's other accelerator card R200 does 256 TOPS at 150W.

Moore thread's S3000 does 15.2 TFLOPS at INT32 (not sure for INT8, maybe equivalent to 120?) at 35W

@WTAN Sir is this the 200W LPP light source that we keep on hearing from the grapevine? IF true then RS laser had a breakthrough, with it maybe a 90W or 120W power source for the mythical 22nm SSA 900 DUVL?

@olalavn Sir we may see a working prototype next year exactly the timeline you gave for IOC in 2024. ;)
It is very likely that Huawei/CAS has made a breakthrough in LPP Light Source development in order for Huawei to publish such a EUVL Patent.
You would have to have developed some form of early Prototype LPP EUVL in order to do the R&D for the Patent.
I have also noticed that 2022 has been the year where quite a number of EUVL Patents were filed. Looks like 2022 is a breakthrough year for the LPP EUVL R&D in China.
Of course ASML has also been filing alot of its own lithography patents in China, so Huawei/CAS also had to do the same.

The esteemed SMEE Insider Havok has recently been revealing some information about a Arf 6khz Excimer Light Source for Immerssion DUVL.
What is surprising is that he claimed that a prototype Arf 6Khz Light Source was recently developed this year in 2022.
The Arf 6Khz 60W Light Source Prototype was actually developed last year in 2021 and used in the first prototype SMEE 28nm DUVL for testing.
So the Arf 6Khz Light source prototype that was developed just recently in 2022 could be the 90W version.
Of course this currently cannot be confirmed but i am sure more information will come out soon.

ACM's tool doesn't yet cover DUV ArF immersion, as far as I know. My understanding is that they are qualifying their ArF tool at a customer beginning this quarter, they will begin qualifying their i-line tool in the later part of 2023, and also do KrF in 2024.
