After Huawei was targeted, months/years later China bought zero Boeing plane. Eh how many billions is that?
Bro the Chinese are cheeky , cheeky I tell you....lol BUT you made a good point, Airbus will continue to sell and trade with the Chinese, so will the Dutch. They may not include the light sources in selling their advance NXT 2100i as a compliance BUT they can work with Japanese Gigaphoton or even RS LASER to replace the original Cymer units. We comply BUT we will continue to sell. :) The American should be careful there are swelling of resentments among its allies because of ill placed sanction and constant bullying. Once they had enough it will damaged American credibility and prestige forever.:)

What China is doing is to offer the world an alternative. This is China's unforgivable sin.
Exactly! which means it's +90% likely SMEE's 28nm litho will be officially released in 2023! For these reasons:
1. It's a great "equalizer"
2. A strong leverage when dealing w ASML and others
3. Xi sees things. He knew about it
4. China has other hidden equalizers

There is actually no proof SMEE's current arfi scanner is close to NXT 1980i. Even if it is tested to have similar mixed match overlay as 1980i, I'm not sure if that can be replicated in large scale operation at same high scanning speed as 1980i. I think we are already probably overly optimistic on SMEE scanners, so might be wise to temper down our expectations.
The fact that the SSA800 is entering mass production from the beginning of 2023 is sufficient proof that it is has met the requirements of Chinese fabs and compares favourably with foreign systems. Trashing SMEE's scanner without reason is just being an Eeyore.

Bro since @hans_r demand an explanation about China Vapor ware capability regarding SMEE 28nm DUVL. I hope he can internalized using his thinking cap the two article below. Without SMEE 28NM SSA800 DUVL how can they achieved complete indigenous of 28nm and 14nm line? Since the article are source from Western publication maybe it was a paid advert by SMEE. ;)

I just can't comprehend this Copium article from SCMP, maybe I need to borrow @hans_r thinking cap to fully internalized its meaning, IF China Chip industry is in deep deep trouble due to American sanction and restriction, how come they need more talent to stay afloat? Maybe I need to smoke what they are smoking to understand it fully. ;)

another clown article from SCMP.

They are keep repeating 789,000 figure since 2019. LAMOOO.

by 2025 China will have largest talent pool of semiconductor related technologies in the world. this year 11.7 million STEM graduates passed out.

How many of the 11.7 million are trained for the semiconductor industry?

We are having trouble finding qualified STEM graduates that you speak of to fill out openings. Chinese fabs, other WFE suppliers are all having the same issue. Everyone ended up poaching from each other’s existing talent pool while competing for the little talent pool willing to join the semi industry.

but this phenomena is shared across the globe. This is not a China only issue. My company are also having trouble filling openings in Taiwan, Korea, and the States.

even tsmc is now having to go beyond first tiered college to fill their job opening.

so the lack of qualified talent pool that SCMP mentioned is true, but they failed to point out this is not a unique problem that China alone suffers from.

Sir I retract what I said, with Job cuts and Capex cancellation from the likes of TSMC, Intel and other FABS, China do have a talent problem as they alone continue their expansion plan.
