We all know China has replacement equipment but its not same level as US. Probably not enough to make even sub 20nm nodes. To make sub 10nm nodes, its not just about EUV, its the combination of other state of art equipment of respective company.
That is not true We know Naura and Amec has semi tool prototype for 14Nm even 7 Nm. The question is how advanced they are with debugging and working with the Fab to bring it into production line

SMIC I believe they can't move to higher nodes because more than 90% of their equipment is manufactured by US companies. They already got sanction and are still stuck with 14nm despite almost 3 years of research to move to higher nodes. Their 14nm is still not at the same level as TSMC or Samsung 14nm tech. In the semiconductor industry, the most notable semi equipment companies like KLA Tencor, Lam Research, Applied Materials, and ASML are already prepared to not supply China with any advanced technology.
China is more prepared to develop everything by itself and put them all out of business. As the Germans say, once the Chinese come for your craft, you can count your days until you are out of business.

Don't confuse what you think with what we "all know." We all know that China is on a warpath with the largest population of engineers in the world to become that world's first self-sufficient nation in lithography, and its progress is akin to the Manhattan Project. You know nothing more than that a "big" machine takes over 10 years to make.

If the only reason people buy your products is because there is no alternative on the market, your business is doomed. And more in a business like this where reliability as a supplier is absolutely important.

I think Naura and Amec etching tools for 14 or less has been production ready for a few years already.
AMEC is developing etchings tools for 3nm.

We all here know that Chinese AESA radar is top notch, in general on par with the US, the most advanced in the world

Chinese also has moved to GaN for the AESA which is the most advanced currently

The question is who manufacture those radar? and with all the sanctions now, it seems there is zero impact to them
