So there are still many Chinese companies are TSMC customers for 7nm and below, so only Huawei is banned for 7nm and below ?

Wondering whether Huawei still a customer of TSMC ?

Only the companies on that Ban List are prevented from trading with TSMC. Unisoc is not yet on that list. But it is a rapidly growing list and if Unisoc starts taking significant market share from Qualcomm they could end up on that list.

There's a small chance. Towards the end of 2020 there were reports that TSMC was able to secure a license from USG to supply mature products (which the media speculated to be 28nm and above) to Huawei. But not sure Huawei would go for it, cause Mainland can already do 28nm and above. Also that mature definition would most likely exclude 5G related products, so I don't think that license would be of much use to Huawei.

I think it is a matter of time before Unisoc gets the Huawei treatment. They are getting too successful for US' liking

Enough to set Unisoc a decade+ given how slow EUVL development is and how uncertain the SMEE ArFi development is (or if it even exists)
I am pretty sure that Arfi lithography will be a non issue and EUV will be the most relevant problem to solve in the near future.
But sometimes I wish that the Americans put more pressure on Chinese companies in order to brake their slumber. I think without U.S. pressure, the China semiconductor industry ecosystem will go nowhere no matter how much money the government put money into them, there will be no pressure to incentivize the collaboration between sectors and develop long time goals.
In short they need the American pressure chamber in other to force Chinese companies to put short term shallow goals aside and become future diamonds.

That hyper-nationalist Dai Weiwei said that the ArF immersion failed

Cool. The US blocking all intermediary and capital goods means China is unable to make anything in the upper-level of the supply chain for a long time.
Not if the US goes into civil war first which is very likely. It's already started! US is destroying itself from within.

US sources all its chips from abroad. Only Intel has 10nm. Who will make US products at a certain quantify and quality of not china. US is already dealing with shortages and inflation. Going into stagflation.
