The tourist train has an official name now, the Silk Road Dream (丝路梦享号).
Does this mark any advances in high end carbon fibre production in China?
Don’t know if any advances were introduced with this train. Although carbon fiber fabrication is pretty advanced in China anyway. The new Xiomi SU7 ultra is all carbon fiber as well

China not only breakthrough in T1000 carbon fiber but also thoroughly conquered entire process include equipment ..
China now has couple of companies capable to produce high end T1000 carbon fiber..

In 2022, the first phase will reach a production capacity of 4,000 tons, the second phase will reach a production capacity of 6,000 tons , and the total production capacity will reach 10,000 tons. Part of the production capacity will be reserved for the third phase, and the total production capacity of the project is expected to reach 20,000 tons ..
that was the original plan but project delayed and started in late 2023..
