Chinese purchase of Su-35

B787 you have always been here to talk up Russian stuff while pretending to just be an enthusiast. You are the one with an agenda. We're just happily discussing this purchase fairly with no one offending Russians at all. It doesn't need you to come and defend or explain with your already disproven ridiculous stupid theories.

Would it make you happy to hear that Russians are the best and little Chinamen will never beat out you guys. Chinese wealth is all pretend fake stuff like all their rubbish. Russians live in paradise if not for the bloody Americans and dodgy Chinese who copy all your stuff. China pretends to be able to make AESA. It's impossible for them to do it in real life. J-20 only pretends to be stealthy so CPC can show off a fake stealth fighter to its citizens. Meanwhile Russians already have AESA, space interceptor, super stealth PAKDA bomber, and Su-57 which is like F-22 and F-35 combined hence its designation. Chinese fanboys like me and others here are delusional while we slave away for $2/month in our sweatshop factories. LOL. Give it 20 to 30 years and you'll see how Russia becomes the backside of the world if it isn't already. I hope China abandons Russia. Why suffer all this hate from these guys while we're giving them gold.

B787 isn't Russian, and as far as I've seen it's not Russians who act in such an anti-Chinese fashion, but rather the usual types of ideologues who are already prejudiced with their mental status quo of things (e.g., western is best, copycats of west is better than non-western anything, etc.)

China's recent game has always been a two folded approach to catching up. Deng realised how backwards China was compared to even the Soviet Union. Real technology was out of reach in many ways. So China cosied up to the west when it broke away from the Soviets. CPC is really not too different from the political and economic management of South Korea from the 70s to 00s. and Singapore after breaking away from Malaysia. These countries experienced tremendous growth and after becoming wealthy, became somewhat less authoritarian. The same is actually true for China if anyone has ever lived and worked there and experienced the changes from 90s to today. China unlike the others, could not get all its hands on western technology and manufacturing so had to start out with Soviet tech. This was still a godsend for post revolution PRC. Since then, it's been copying in the earlier days, now copying and improving while innovating in its own way on the side. In the coming decades we'll see less reverse engineering as China begins to approach the West on all fronts of technology not just military.

Today there is still a place for Su-35 especially now that we consider the slow rate of production of J-20 and priority for J-16 variants and J-15 for new carriers. Anyone talking like Russia is still some top dog is actually the real fanboy and hopelessly lost. There is no evidence of J-20 being a failure. No evidence of China not being able to create cutting edge elctronics and radars for their fighters. Yet there is evidence of Indians being doubtful about PAKFA and Russians not being able to build large ships anymore. Apart from cold war era stuff, Russia has Armata (easy stuff and really a waste of money because it is still a piece of cake for gunships and UCAVS to defeat. $8M Armata vs $8M drone or gunship we all know who wins with or without secret stealth paint and all your APS grenades) and Su-57 which is still a maybe in terms of how successful the project is. Again ample evidence to doubt Su-57 more than one can reasonably doubt J-20. Apart from the classic idiots who will always rubbish everything Chinese. That's just a convenient excuse with zero real truth behind it. Buy cheap consumer goods, expect to get rubbish.

Doesn't matter what these people actually are. They are everywhere. They are from all backgrounds. There are plenty who are rational and don't have these prejudices so no point judging entire groups. However I'm addressing the former set of people who are always anti-chinese and pro-whatever. I just sometimes feel compelled to pick away at their pathetic arguments and opinions. Sometimes just can't be bothered but since i'm new and have some time to spare these days....

West is better, but the race ain't over. We do know Russia will be back to being the backwater of Europe again. China will eventually be dominant in Asia if not already. Apart from natural resources, Russia is nothing anymore. Their most skilled and educated have left. If China were to join the US in screwing with gas prices, Russians are gone. I don't think a large proportion of their population can even afford bread anymore. A friend who's Russian explained how much better life in the West is. Close to 100% of his salary as a government accountant in St.Petersberg was spent on rent (in an average area), food, and utilities every week. Nothing left to spend on luxuries and savings. How can such a country invest in large projects. Everything there is rotting away and falling apart outside the stuff they want to preserve. Even though it's one example, it still sounds like North Korea with a more extreme winter. Way off topic... is there a way to PM members instead of posting off topic responses?

Russia is a friend not the adversary. China should look for more cooperation with Russia
They're neither. China should not antagonise them but should also keep them at arms length.

Cooperation can only be done for either mutual or China's benefit. There is no tolerable instance where the Slavs get to benefit while China doesn't.

They have been. China is one of the only countries supporting Russia today. For no direct benefit apart from sharing common adversaries and buying political favour. But Chinese aren't sentimental or stupid either. As soon as the mutual benefits stop, China would distance itself. Both seem to want peace with each other since they've both got some powerful rivals to deal with. It's also in the interest of both to create stability in central Asia and curtail the extreme Islamists from reinstating their caliphate. That would be extremely scary for both.

I will tell you a secret you will not understand, Russia one day will have a Czar, Siberia will be Chinese, but Russia will be shining thanks to Orthodoxy, China will drink from Orthodoxy the greatness of Russia are not weapons, but they will like Greece conquer the Romans.

If you know more about Russia you will understand that, but if you think China will control Asia i will tell you another secret, Jerusalem will rule

Could very well happen. Could also be contrary to everything you believe in. Guess we'll wait and see. Meanwhile I do see Chinese starting to buy up things around the world. The wealth is spread fairly well and the western propaganda of $2/month wages are not true. Standards may not have matched the west yet but trends show promise. Meanwhile governments in Russia use Mercedes S class to drive their elites around while their country rusts in front of them and every economic indicator shows Russia go from so called transition to rapid decline. If you are right about your predictions, you won't be here to see that Russian empire glisten. Russia has no real industry today apart from gas and weapons. Two pretty awesome things to bank on.

These are not my predictions but Russian predictions from XX and XIX centuries but still you do not understand, Jerusalem will rule, China will be orthodox, communism will crumble, Russia will conquest the Chinese soul, it is not about money, but about souls, China will get Siberia, but Russia will get the soul of China.

So believe me this deal is just a fleeting deal, but the ruling will be of Jerusalem.

Any way i will not tell you more this is highly off topic, by the way I am not racist as you think

I don't think you're racist at all. Just harbour some strange beliefs when it comes to China and Russia. I dunno about the stuff you said. But okay.
