It mentioned in some of the Chinese TV programs.
I highly doubt that China would back out of a contract or commitment to buy anything, unless the Russians made promises they can't keep or the price has gone up as per "bidnez as usual comrade".

From whatever I've read and researched, the SU-35 is inferior to the Rafale, despite the SU-35 hype. The Meteor missiles are a huge bonus. Am I wrong?
That is the key, simply put, it is orange and apple. This is the kind of statement that rubs many folks the wrong way on these comparo's,,, its fine to say the Rafale has better avionics??? its fine to say the Rafale has a faster pitch rate, rate of climb at gross weight, etc. etc. but they are two different animals
So no doubt the Rafale likely has tighter tolerances or a better finish???? but the SU-35 is a very capable aircraft, it will haul a load, it has very long legs, it has OVT and is quite maneuverable for such a large fighter???
I would clarify what you heard or read, and ask what others might think???
I suppose it is RD-120. According to wikileak, 3 were supposed sold in 1991 around the collapse of USSR. If the LOX-Kerosene engines of LM-5 and LM-7 had any foreign input, it must be RD-120.I went back and checked. The rocket engines were from Ukraine.
Although I am against the Su35, I'd rather believe China did not sign a deal than believing China is going to renegade from a contract. Simply because compared with credibility, money is nothing. It's all a moot point now, China seems like ready to back out and cancel the SU35 and S400 deals

sourceSo the contract is a work in progress.
how are these oil & gas deals concessions to Russia? If I remember correctly, for that massive gas deal a couple of years ago, the price per thousand cubic meter is lower than Gazprom's European price and the subsequent deals allowed Chinese large equity stakes in the projects.commercial loans, oil & gas deals
