Thanks..
If she's a captain my name is Hieronymus Merkin..She looks all of 22 years old. And she appears to also be a pilot..c'mon now. Nothing wrong with putting an enlisted person on a Tv broadcast instead of a hired ringer.
And another thing..with that puffy hair-do how's she going to ever wear a cover(cap/hat) properly??? Just askin'...
Are you talking about the girl at the beginning of the video? She's a TV anchor of some sort for the military channel CCTV7. I think she is really an enlisted individual. An interesting thing about the PLA is that they have these soldier/entertainer people in what is called "performers' branch" using my own translation. Sort of like the propaganda arm of the PLA. Their jobs would be to perform shows for soldiers to boost morale in war time. In peace time, they behave like their civilian counterparts. If they are actors, they act in movies and TV shows. In fact, many movie stars in China are enlisted military personnel. If they are TV news anchors, like the one we see in this video, they host news sections like any other news anchors. Most likely, they don't do any military training at all and only wear uniforms as that's their dress code, like we have to wear suits. So her hair should not be in the way of her daily job. And I don't know about her wings. She might have had some pilot training previously, but she's definitely not a pilot on a daily basis. And one sure thing is that they are definitely officially affiliated with the military.
And her hair is exceptionally puffy...
