A reportage of the 22 students in the PLAAF female pilot 9th promotion. They were selected in August 2008 among 150,000 high school students across the country, received military pilot training for 4 years and have completed basic training, including navigation on the primary training aircraft CJ-6. The report shows their first flight on the advanced jet training JL-8. They will fly for a year on the jets to complete their studies and will integrate PLAAF divisions in 2013.
