Thanks for the wonderful picture, I like the 105mm gun version, it looks like a modern western 8x8 wheel tank (japanese MCV), But other one looks puny ,it needs more firepower like a 40mm gun.

Doesn't China already have a Striker-type 8-wheel assault vehicle platform in service since the 2000s?
You mean ZBL-08? yeah, I think the new vehicle is just an evolution of ZBL-08 with more armor. The assault gun version looks to have a new turret, but I haven't seen any pics about the IFV version yet. I wonder what are the improvements in the new vehicles though, aside from the obvious armor.

I believe we'll see it.
But APC is necessary anyways. And for it any heavy weapon is unnecessary weight, cost, complexity and crew member.
So looks like there's an APC variant, an IFV variant, and the assault gun variant (the latter of which we've been most exposed to).
The APC variant looks like it has an RWS (but who knows if it will enter service with it lol).
The IFV variant looks like it has a rather large turret for an IFV and a decent sized autocannon as well.
From an angle, it's almost possible to mistake the IFV variant for the assault gun variant because the IFV variant's gun looks so big, but only the picture showing both of them in the same picture (4th pic in the post) are we able to discern the true difference in size between their guns imo..
There are only the APC and the assault gun variant in these 4 pictures. We sure have seen the IFV version before.
They seem to have a longer wheelbase than the ZBL-08. The ZBL-08 wheels are grouped in pairs. The new APC, only the frontal 2 wheels are paired, the rear 2 wheels are separated.
Now that you mention it, I'm not sure.
I was under the impression the one on the left side of the picture (from our perspective) was the IFV. But looking at it closer I'm not sure if it's just further away from the camera and therefore the gun looks a bit smaller..
