Showing something like Link Click, Scissor Seven or (incoming) Lord of Mysteries might be more persuasive than some random cute-girls-do-cute things donghua. At least Link Click and Scissor seven had significant fanbase.
Link Click only Season 1 was good.

China will soon surpass Japan in many aspect.. cars, phones, gadgets, music, cyber city, transit, video games, drama, movie... except degens and porno

What's especially hilarious about this is that you still see people in the comments going, "but Chinese is such an unpleasant language how did they make it sound so cute!?!"

I remember arguing with people a decade ago about how voice training is the primary factor in how "pleasant" a language sounds, not its intrinsic properties, and that what people classically associate with Japanese and South Korean voice talent have little to do with the language and everything to do with how that voice talent is trained.

But no, people kept arguing it's due to its "agglutinative" nature or its "vowels system" as though they are linguistic experts. It's like they never heard how whiny & harsh Korean sounds when it's not professional voice actors / singers using it. Now that we actually have similarly trained voice talent in Chinese, it's funny seeing how people are surprised it matches up with Japanese and Korean.

Girl streamers from every languages or cultural backgrounds all trained themselves very well tho.
It is not even a hard skill, some material incentive will make it happen.

China soft power just sucks. That's a truth. Even in China there is shit ton of otaku, if not the largest number of otaku in the world. And Chinese government barely made any effort to promote it because they content they have the biggest martket in the world.

we have now better equipment , facilities , large market and government policies.

A Chinese anime series titled "The Founder of Diabolism" has become a global hit, amassing more than 11 billion views worldwide. Especially popular with women, the series topped the chart on MyAnimeList, a global anime and manga social networking site.

Anime studios in China, which in the past have mainly produced works outsourced by Japanese makers, are starting to release original products, gaining a large fan base in China and even in Japan.

we have almost decoupled from Hollywood. our domestic movies completely overthrow Hollywood movies. Chinese audience are very choosy. not an easy task but we did it..

entire gaming world knows, what we have done to gaming industry with just one game .. LOOL

complete series coming based on Wukong.. so buckle your belt. we are going to demolish everything.

i know. what you will trying to say, but i m telling you. we don't give a shit what western shills says, what western media says, no matter what. they will not accept anything good from China.

Japan and West still comfortably sit on top when it comes to soft power .. but we are rapidly gaining the acceptance and our journey just begun. imagine in 2030's.

our first goal is to takeover domestic market. the world largest market. then South East Asian. the exactly what we are doing right now.

Modao Zhushi has 11 billions view worldwide. How many of that is from mainland? Is Modao Zhushi more popular than some trash like Kimetsu no Yaiba or Jujutsu Kaisen, not to mention Pokemon, One Piece or Naruto? And Modao Zhushi is hardly appealing to people who cannot get in to gay love. That's why it has massive women fanbase. You said you don't give a shit about the West says, that's fine. But don't you know that even in Southeast Asia, Chinese media is not even on par with Japanese media or even Korean media yet. How many Chinese movies can make money in such market? You can say that Chinese media is popular to Chinese viewers and that's enough. It just prove that Chinese media hardly appeal outside China or put in another way, Chinese soft power just suck outside China or countries that has Chinese cultural heritage like Vietnam. Such narrow world view contribute to how Chinese media is ridiculed anywhere and hardly get what it should deserve.

They should make Tianjin accent Hentai to get back at these Weebs. Probably will never be able to get hard at the sight of anime titties ever again.
