Mom was a lecturer in university back in the 1980s, she once said her students laughed at Lei Feng and mocked him as an idiot, so not surprising some grew into people like that associate professor who told kids to marry foreigners and leave China and not come back.

How times have changed.

Three Body Drama was amazing, actually one of the few Chinese shows I can recommend to my non-Chinese friends. I do hope more productions of this quality can come out in the future.
I couldn't watch it and hated it and Wandering Earth II. I wanted to like them but something about how the movies were filmed makes the pacing feel very unnatural and off-putting. I don't know how exactly to describe it...but it's strange but its something about the flow of events.

Finished watching the series this weekend and dam the second half really gains in pace. The last episode explanation scene was so awesome. I heard the detective gets his spin off show?

Not from China, but documentary on the Chinese in the UK.

Documentary on how the Chinese who settled in the UK after assisting them in their war.
Unbeknownst by their UK wives and children, deported as aliens in the 1940s.

LMAO that the UK accuse China on disappearing people.
Their British born wives and children, thought they were abandoned by their missing Chinese husbands and were called prostitutes and classified as aliens and deprived of social welfare.

A must watch for those Hong Kong cockroaches.
