This is from Wuxi Hyatech. They supply compressor blades, blisk and turbine disks to RR, GE, CFM and AECC. It’s only one of many such subcontractors in China that supply major parts (blades, disk, axle, superalloy, bearing steel) to international engine/gas turbine makers, who are increasingly dependent on Chinese suppliers

Another company WTB makes fan blades, LPT blades and compressor blades for the same engine makers.
Wuxi Hyatech is the main supplier of Low/High pressure compressor blades to CJ-1000/CJ-2000 ..

Wuxi Turbine is the main supplier of Low/High pressure Turbine blades to CJ-1000/CJ-2000 ..

China have minimum 2-3 suppliers on single component. its a huge surprise considering China started very late in this industry. not only they supply to local manufacture but also become the integral part of Global supply chain of Turbofan Engine industry.

I did some digging on 3D printed engine blades. Apparently TiAl blades are becoming the best material choice for low pressure turbine and high pressure compressor, and GE recently started mass producing TiAl LPT blades with Arcam E-beam 3D printers for use in GE9X.

At least two Chinese Ebeam 3D printer companies making TiAl blades

Casting is still the dominant method for making TiAl LPT blades. IMR CAS and its spin-off are supplying these cast blades to RR and ACAE

and please do more search on Ceramic composite/CMC parts just like you did on 3D printed blades/laser equipment..

bunch of local companies also successfully conquered Ceramic composite.

...all part of a completely, totally, definitely inconspicuous plan. Trust the process.

Tbh I don’t think there’s any hidden scheme in any of this. Arconic and PCC basically form a duopoly on aerospace precision casting parts, so it’s no surprise RR Safran GE PW all wanted to create more competition in this space by using Chinese suppliers. Similar situation in forging and alloy materials. Chinese suppliers also have better quality control like this one
2018年LSPT公司由于出现重大质量问题,被GE公司暂停其LSP供应商资质;归属LSPT公司承接的所有业务,全部由西安天瑞达接管。
This company became the sole supplier for GE gas turbine blade laser shock peening simply because its only foreign competitor had major QC issues and got kicked out
