yes. that's second flight after March, 2023 ..

CJ-1000A also successfully passed long 150 hours ''lubricating oil interruption test'' ..

Second flight or second photographed flight? Because I'd be having a hard time believing that no CJ-1000A test flights took place between March 2023 and December 2024 (1 year plus)...

good question..

this could be second photographed flight.. at the beginning of this year one important task has been performed. it could be flight or some really important test..

but it shows CJ-1000A certification process has accelerate.

one more thing, in 2021 airshow AECC released CJ-1000A promotional video. in which they mentioned, this engine could enter in mass production in five years time.

A test flight of the Jindouyun 400 ramjet engine took place earlier today and was a complete success.

I’ve been following the WS10A’s development for a while, and it seems like things are moving along pretty well. From what I’ve read, it’s already in the advanced testing phase, and there’s speculation that mass production might start soon, but nothing concrete yet. It’s obviously a critical piece for China’s military goals, especially with the focus on self-reliance. They’ve been pretty quiet about the exact timeline, though, so it’s hard to say for sure.

Did you mean to write WS-10A, or did you mean to write a different engine?

Or is this some sort of advanced joke

Are you one of the “China Military Power Report” authors that wrote this?

The PRC's decades-long effort to improve domestic aircraft engine production is starting to produce results, with the J-10 and J-20 fighters beginning to switch to domestically produced WS-10 engines, although some Russian AL-31F engines may remain in use.
