Ehh don’t think that number is in context of total thrust relative to previous engines. The paper looks at performance for different run modes so I think that number is probably relative to some other performance baseline conditions.32.4% "end thrust" increase is quite something.

There was a paper about a two-stream variable cycle engine that was suspected to be based on the WS-10 quite some time ago now, actually.In 2014 airvshow it was reveal that china is developing a variable cycle engine .possible they might try to convert ws10 into variable cycle engine
