Even Orca acknowledges that WS-15 is progressing very smoothly, which is collaborated by official sources like Liu Daxiang. Only gripe he has is that it doesn’t generate as high of a maximum thrust as the optimistic projections.
last year during press conference Liu Daxiang said -

1. we have master the core technology of Turbofan engines. 3rd generation engines are in serial production like WS-10 and others.

2. 4th generation machine also successfully conquered but we have yet to start serial production. like WS-15

3. breakthrough has achieved in next generation machine technologies. with T/W ratio of 15.

4. by 2035 China will become the tier1 engine manufacturer.

This all no-one denies, but it also proves not a single given thrust ratio!

people have different opinion and lists.. but pretty much everyone agreed that, only USA and UK are the members of tier1 club..

Tier1 - USA/UK
Tier2 - France/Russia and China

Japan is very good at components manufacturing but never produce a proper turbofan engine. Ukraine inherited a strong turbofan industry from USSR but didn't design a new machine ever since 1991..

that is my list ..

thats because he knows stuff and does things`````unlike someone has never had an experience of the real deal`````and if he tells you he "knows" someone from the institutions, the best guess would be the door keepers````lol

anyway, the situation becomes tougher day by day, huge pressure from top, lots of them are unrealistic and stupid``` we are "pessimistic" not because of how far we lagged, because they are working their arse off and will get somewhere eventually. But we are pessimistic at other aspects that is more crucial and worrying```````
Gongke was also a low level employee at a backwater firm and he ended up not looking too right a few years later lol.

Anyways you sound more and more like a troll lol.

years behind the schedule, I cannt call it very smoothy``````product defective rate is one of the problems, it drives-up production cost and brings down reliability. But the development as a whole appears better than what we had with WS-10's

anyway good to see one senior member from PDF```:D

so here is the translation

Since the oversize, iron-blooded, etc. disappeared, the red pants with no hem are here... No matter 10 or 15, the gap with the American emperor is all-round. Now it only solves the problem of whether or not, thrust Just reaching that level...it still lags behind in terms of maintainability, service life, and finished product defective rate. Although the team worked day and night, it was impossible to catch up... It was still far away...
WTF is this machine translate.

Mine:

Since the CJDBY, tiexue forum, etc. Closed, the patriotic fanboys all refugeed here... No matter 10 or 15, the gap with the US is comprehensive. It only solves the problem of availability. Thrust and maintainability, service life, and defective rate all lags behind. Although the team worked day and night, it was still far away...
