it definitely seems so. Any word with FWS-10A's status? I remember reading that it flew with J-10 in 2007 or 2008. Since FWS-10 and 10A are slightly different (if I remember correctly, they also have different thrust right?), don't we need some production J-10s with FWS-10A before it can get certified?
It's possible the WS-10A is a further improvement over the WS-10, and both the J10A and J11B are able to use WS-10A. There may be 2 variants of WS-10A with different gearbox positions to accomodate both the aircraft types. The articles never say it's the WS-10 or WS-10A.
